I’m a generalist by nature.

I know that “niches make riches” but I’m interested in people, and people do not fit in a single niche.
I had the chance recently for some serious, alone thinking time, traveling the PA Turnpike between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg.

And for the first time ever, I realized that what I do doesn’t really matter.

Wait a second; it’s not what you think.  I’m interested in connecting and helping other people live a sweeter life. In business. At home. Everywhere. My passion isn’t me; it’s you. I’m a writer by trade, but that really isn’t what gets me up in the morning anymore.

What matters is connecting with individuals differently, not from an “earn 10K this month” standpoint, or even from a “calm down & meditate” stance.

It’s more of a yearning to help someone find their own unique bliss. As individuals, we experiment and evolve, always striving to find authenticity and success. But we don’t have to do it alone.

Close your eyes and picture yourself in the most comfortable chair you can imagine.

It supports you in all the right places, you can get a lot of work done in this particular chair, and it’s the perfect place to think. There’s a feeling of relief when you sink down in and let go. It opens your mind.

Think of me as that chair.

I’m your brainstorming partner. The one you bounce what-ifs around with. Your cheerleader. Your accountability tasker. Your shoulder. I’m an iron fist in a velvet glove. I know that sometimes you need someone to listen. And sometimes you need someone to push. I know the difference between reasons and excuses. I am the someone that always has your back, your best interests at heart. I’m not trying to do what you dream of doing; there is no competition. My dream is to help you realize yours.
I want to be the one you call to celebrate victories because I know they were hard won. And I want to be the one you call when you want to just stop, because I won’t let you.

And I want to be the person that sits back and says, “I remember you when you were…” Fill in the blank. And look how far you’ve come.

Take a moment to gather your thoughts, to breathe.

This is a beginning, and you have choices. You can make personal contact with the folks that resonate with you and start a conversation. You can join or create your own mastermind group and be part of something more permanent. Growth takes time, and slow growth rewards us with strong roots, meaningful connections and affirmation that we’re doing the right thing. Doing nothing is a choice as well, but it doesn’t seem one that appeals to folks that only need a little help. One choice made. Now, don’t decide what to do with the rest of your life. Just decide what to do next.

It’s time for you to choose your adventure.

No limits, except the ones you choose. Need someone on your team? Someone as committed to your success as you are?

Maybe it’s time to try out a new chair.
